Dear Residents,
The Board of Governors would like to inform you that ENGR. MEL ANGELO ABRACIA, our former Village Manager, has resigned his position and is no longer connected with San Lorenzo Village Association, inc. (SLVA) effective November 30, 2022. SUBJECT: VILLAGE REMINDERS
Dear Residents,
RESIDENTIAL LOTS MAINTENANCE. The association would like to remind all lot owners of vacant lots and residents insidethe village to properly upkeep and maintain their respective lots and houses.
Under Section 3.3.2 of the Deed of Restrictions — “Owners of empty or vacated or abandoned houses or lots shéuld alsoensure that the premises are clean, and that grass on their lot is cut and trimmed to reduce the potential fire hazard of the property. “
Also, under Section 3.6 of the Deed of Restrictions - “Undeveloped lots and houses must be maintained by
the lot owner/resident in a manner based on standards set by the SLVA.”
Failure on the part of the property owner to comply will prompt and authorize the SLVA to undertake the task in his/her behalf with costs chargeable to the lot owner/resident.
PROPER HANDLING OF PETS. In response to the complaints of some residents concerning dogs in the streets, we are
calling the attention of dog owners/possessors that your dog/s must be on a LEASH when they are walked around the
streets.
Under Section 3.4 of the Deed Restrictions — “Pets owners must ensure that their pets (particularly dogs) cause no harm to the life or property, peace and tranquility of third parties and shall adopt measures to curtail such harmful or disturbing behavior. Pet owners shall be liable for any harm or damage which their pets may cause.”
The SLVA Board of Governors approved a fine of Php 5,000 to the dog owners/ possessors of the dogs walking in the
street without a leash. Same fine will apply for not picking up the dog’s/pet’s waste and leaving their pets unattended and/or unleashed in the streets.
DENGUE PREVENTION. As it is raining frequently, we would like to remind the residents of some dengue prevention tips that you may apply to your home which includes covering of open water drums and pails, replacing of water in flower vases once a week, cleaning of gutters of leaves and debris and collect and dispose of all unusable tin cans, jars, bottles, and other items that can collect and hold water. ’
We do hope for your cooperation and understanding on this matter.
Thank you very much and keep safe.

STREET SWEEPING AND MAINTENANCE REQUESTS
Circular: SLVA-2022-008DATE: APRIL 11, 2022
Subject: TREET SWEEPING AND MAINTENANCE REQUESTS
THE FALLING LEAVES. As you notice, many of our trees are currently shedding leaves big time, an annual occurrence around this time of the year and our street sweepers are trying their best to clear the leaves off the street. Unfortunately, the current number of our available street sweepers only allows one round of sweeping per steet per day to cover all the streets in the entire village.
We do observe house helpers sweeping the streets and sidewalks immediately outside of their properties, either early in the moming or late in the afternoon, and we could only thank the helpers and heads of households so much for their initiative and assistance.
USE OF SLVA MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL. As mentioned earlier, we have limited number of maintenance personnel in the village. Frequently, the maintenance group receives calls from residents asking maintenance workers to do work inside and outside of their residences and during work hours! We ask residents to refrain from this practice and to be aware that SLVA maintenance workers have daily work schedules and could not afford to stray from their pre-assigned tasks.
Workers may be available after work hours or during ‘days off’ and residents need to negotiate compensation with the workers themselves.
We are hoping for your utmost understanding and cooperation about this matter.
Thank you very much and please keep safe.
